Trame: the innovative walk-in by Cesana

“Trame” is the innovative Cesana walk-in project developed in collaboration with Studio Meneghello Paolelli Associati, presented in November 2019 at "Architect@Work Milano".

In recent years, even in the bathroom and shower enclosures sector, the desire and need of architects and interior designers to offer innovative and customized furnishing solutions is increasingly growing, in order to satisfy the requests of customers more and more attentive to design, the materials quality and finishes.

The traditional walk-in shower enclosure model, essential and linear, has been redesigned to offer a highly innovative solution by working in an original way on coupled and decoupled glasses - the latter unique and never proposed by other manufacturers before - and on the finishes of the profiles, thanks to the introduction of special PVD finishes on the steel profiles and the use of marble profiles obtained from a single milled block (calacatta, nero marquinia, emperador).

The glasses, of different types, colors, structures and thicknesses can be coupled in the following way:

• simple with steel profiles (CONCEPT 1)
• simple with bold marble profiles (CONCEPT 3)
• staggered to create particular and innovative effects (CONCEPT 2)

The thickness of the tempered glass (compliant with the EN 14428/2003 standard) varies from 4 mm to 6 mm, to reach a total thickness in the coupling phase varying from 10 to 12 mm.

Six new PVD finishes have been introduced to the classic finishes of 3 cm thick steel profiles (matt black, matt white, polished steel, brushed steel, brushed aluminum, light bronze): gold, matt gold, graphite, matt graphite, vintage and vintage matt.
